I first wanted to name this gallery as 'fairy'. Defensive outstations with massive walls or elegant lines on the top of rocky spurs or in the middle of neat gardens, the idea of castle is inevitably tied to the fashinating Middle Age and the time of knights and kings' courts when hystory and epic were twisted into those dark times when magic and reality could not be distinguished. Even if I know the truth is much less pleasant and hystory is actually made on the oblivion of the anonymous, here I would like to follow this suggestion throughout the centuries, as it came to us.
