They have been described as some of the most complex machines that nature was able to project. They are the most resistant, sometimes fastidious, and the most present animals. But usually terribly difficult to catch with the camera. I find that when the lens is all for them, the beauty of their complexity and the observation of their flights leaves astonished. Special attention, across this section, has been paid to butterflies: looking with the camera for the brilliant colors, the pindaric flight trajectories, the moves lightness is an experience that always makes me loose the sense of time.
